Scope of work

"Eurovia Lietuva has built 16 new local access roads and 2 service roads along the future railway. Total length of new local roads 18,289 kilometrus.

The importance of the project for society and Rail Baltica

This is the first contract signed on the 65 km long Rail Baltica line from Kaunas to the Latvian border.

Local access and service roads will be used to supply the necessary materials and machinery for the further construction of the European rail line. The access roads will also provide local residents with access to their plots of land once the railway is built, while the service roads will be used for the maintenance of the railway line.
