Eurovia Group's Lumivia® product, Luminous Asphalt, which we used to install four speed bumps on Rokantiškių Street in Vilnius.
Lumivia® was invented and developed by replacing part of the fillers with glass and mirror particles. This type of mix retains the properties of asphalt and gives an additional shimmering effect without the use of additional energy.

How is Lumivia® different from conventional asphalt mixes?
- The asphalt mix is made using recycled glass and mirror materials, so it is a green product.
- Asphalt reflects light in the dark, drawing the attention of road users. Studies carried out by the Eurovia Lietuva team have shown that glare increases when asphalt is installed in an area with at least minimal light, so we will continue to improve the use of the product.

We hope that shiny asphalt will become a great alternative in the future when it comes to urban squares, pedestrian and cycle paths and other urban facilities. Lumivia® would help to highlight these environmental elements and thus beautify the city.
